It was exciting but an exhausting weekend. I’ve survived the high heat at the 2013 Italian Street Painting Marin. Over 200 artists have participated to return to this festival after a 2 year absence in downtown San Rafael.
I’ve continued my choice of the 40’s glamorous cover girl illustrations by Crandell Bradshaw. It was a scorcher of a weekend but it was also fun seeing my Madonnari friends. Hope you enjoy this rendition!

The street painting festival in Lake Worth was a success! [Feb 23 – 24]. The Saturday evening downpour was unexpected but my work on the 1st day survived the rain. Whew!
The piece I rendered was from Cosmopolitan Magazine circa 1941 with Veronica Lake on the cover illustrated by Bradshaw Crandell. 12 feet x 10 feet in diameter. Can’t wait for the next street painting festival event!
Later this February, I will be in Florida to be one of the featured artists at the 19th Annual Street Painting Festival in Lake Worth. Come and visit if you are in town. Feb 23 – 24 www.streetpaintingfestivalinc.org
